yes, all the parts were installed to correct the problem. the car runs fine at idle...for about 20 mins and then goes to crap. the check engine light has always been on and we cant read it. the dealership just said it wouldn't read. oh, and also the engine coolant temperature sensorhas been replaced, too.

It has got to be the PIP in the distributor that is causing your problem....I too had the same problem and replaced all the parts you have with the exception of the MAF and it turned out to be a bad stator (pip). Worst part was the new one I got from the parts store was bad out of the box so I was even more pissed but after tossing a second one in it worked fine.

yeah all i had to do was go to schucks he hooked it up to his little computer and gave me the codes for mine and even said what they were for, i called the ford dealership by my house and apparently when they run codes you have to have the clutch in because i got a reading for a bad clutch position or something?

i'm guilty of covering up my check engine light in the past with tape or a picture. now i'm smarter. it just doesnt make sense to leave it on if it's telling you there is a problem.
