my buddy got a fox body for $600 bucks it has a trick flow cam and keith black pistons engine is rebuilt the tranny when out on it thats why im guessing it was so cheap any way we put a used wc t-5 a new clutch new bearing etc the cars runs really strong we took it on the freeway all gears are good except 5th reverse goes in too...any idea wats wrong witht the tranny it has warrantee for 90 days but just wanted to know if any one knew wat was wrong with that tranny why 5 gear is gone...by the way 5th gears goes in without the clutch it seems like when in 5th gear the car is in neutral sorry for the long post thanx for all your help

Something is definately broken in there. Could be a gear or shift fork or something. Whatever it is it isn't going to fix itself so I would pull it now before broken parts end up getting into something else and causing more damage.
