PMS won't do you much good for running an LMAF... you could make it work, but it won't be easy... PMS has recommended against it.

With the tweecer upgrading to the LMAF is fairly easy.

Do you have future mods planned that will require a 90mm MAF meter?
Nothing against the LMAF, but a stock motor barely needs a 55mm meter...

just keep your stock ecm for now..no need to change it and when you do have mods that warrant a maf change....you need to match it to injectors used

The reason I wish I had started using the tweecer sooner is that it would have opened up the possiblities for MAF meters.

With the tweecer, you can purchase almost any MAF meter and have it setup in a matter of minutes.
Also, injectors could be changed without having to buy a new MAF meter.

In my opinion...
If tuning is in the long term plan, then the tuning package should be one of the first things purchased.
This would allow the user to build tuning skills with a lightly modified car,
AND
eliminate some of the need to buy parts twice.
Just my opinion though...

A9P, A9L, those are the common ones and there is a lot of info out there on how to tune them, X3Z is the cobra one that uses 24 lb injectors but I run 24s on an A9P that I tuned(with help from dudestang)so I don't see the need for the more expensive cobra ecu.
