hey guys i picked up a gt40 intake and i m swapping everything over to it from the stock one and it doesnt seem like theres the same pluig in that goes in the side its circular with liek a triangular point? some one said it was like a temp control plug and one no why the new one doesnt ahve it?

no but after reading it looks like i dont have the hole for the egr and the ATC??? mannn thats not good is it???/ like will ti be hard to fix

Only thing i could think of is your talking about the act if its off the number 3 intake runner or near the front then its the coolant temp sensor, either way the intake probably came of an explorer or something that didnt use that sensor you will just need to drill and thread the hole for it no big deal.

its ****in easy.

ok 1st off, this isnt a sbc, its a ford, so thats runner number 5, lol.

and you drill and tap it with a 3/8 NPT tap... its simple. very easy. theres even a boss already there for it

and dont do it w. the intake installed

HMM ill have to check my gt40 intake i swear it was number 3 cuz i had to put a plug in it but u could be right.

ya it is number 3 cuz mine is just like the one on summits site, and even that still wouldnt be number 5 on a chevy itd be number 4

ok ya aftre looking at it it will be pretty easy! only other thing was at the back in the corner there was a fitting with a hose running out of it can i just plug this because there isnt a fitting on the new one or should i drill that to?

put a plug in it if ya dont need it i had to do that on mine too
