Default Exhaust?

Hey, I was wondering what everyone thought about exhaust. I have an 89 with stock exhaust right now and I have been getting small bolt on intake parts and want a new performance exhaust. My stock one has a leek anyway so I better upgrade. So I was wondering what everyone would suggest. I don't want something to loud! I want it to sound aggressive for sure but not to loud, and of course I don't want anything to big because I want it to sound like a very healthy 18 year old car. So any suggestions on what to get, where to look, or prices would be very helpful. Thanks!

Mike

A big consideration is whether or not you need to keep it street legal for smog tests.....

That will make you choose between a straight pipe or cats......shortys or long tubes

I kept is California Legal withBBK Ceramic Shorty Headers, UPR X-Pipe (w/High Flow Cats) and Flowmaster Mufflers..........it sounds GOOD!!!

That's irrelevent. You have to follow the laws according to your registration. Outside of local sound ordances anyhow.
