i just bought a trans today. the metaltag says it is a 3550 but it has a 26 spline input shaft. i thought the 3550'shad 10 tooth and the tko's had 26 teeth. I was wondering ifmy stock driveshaft and crossmember will workwith this?

The metal tag on the TKO 600 has 3550 on it. There a some other characters on the tag that say it is a TKO, but they do not say TKO. A 26 spline is a 600 and a 10 spline is the 500. What tranny did you buy, what did they say it was?

According to this site it is a 3550/tko. IDK read it and see what you have.

You can modify the cossmember, I think it sits back an inch, and you will need a new driveshaft yoke
