Default I need info please...yes I am a neube

I am in the process of a project - installing a '89 5.0L with OEM FI complete into a "99 Miata - commonly called "Monster Miatas".

It will have a 5 speed and TBird rearend(independent suspension).

My question is this I am having trouble finding "good" documentation on vacuum lines and to some extent the emmisions on this motor. I plan to run all the required emissions including O2 sensor(s) - question here is it one or two, I suppose they are just prior to CATs, if so is the distance critical, etc.

Any help or directions as to where I can find info greatly appreciated.

you will need 2 sensors one for each bank and typically o/2 sensors if using long tube headers need to be placed 3-6 inches max away from where all the tubes join and become one flange..on factory shorty headers the same 3-6 inches from flange on down/h-pipe

Actually this makes very nice package - adds only 263 lbs over stock and doubles horsepower.

Bottom line - a nice very nice sounding street sleeper!!!

Wow, sounds killer. I've seen some crazy swaps(lsx into a porsche) but never a V8 Miata. Should make for a hell of a AutoX car.
