You could have gone with a bolt on fiberglass hood.

Or you can use Zeuss Fasteners, now they rock

It can be done.....

-Put Masking Tape in an X pattern where you want to drill...use lots of tape
-Start with a small bit and work your way up and go easy

re..hood pins...I hate them myself and did not want to put them on, but I hate the thought of my light fiberglass hood flying up even more...probably depends on the hood too...my Harwood weighs nothing....but hey to each their own...

A little Hood Pin photo for Pro

Hoods fly up on SN95s also, it depends on the quality of the hood and maybe install also. Adder you told me 100x to put pins on my hood or it would fly up, and you also said your hood looks loose when you're driving and that you were putting pins on it, what happened?

Bernie does your hood have a steel latch? I guess what happens is the hoods that have fiberglass latches rip through and the hood comes up at high speeds.
I wanted yo to put pins on, becasue I wanted your car to look ugly!
I figured out why mine was loose.
My hood has a steel latch area.

Pfff, my car will always look good compared to yours

One of the sexiest SN95s I've ever seen has hood pins so it doesn't always ruin the look.

Back up the drilling with a piece of wood that also will minimize the splintering effect, the seal it.

Hood pins for the lose!!! Not a fan of how they look.
Exactly. No need for that bling bling. Plus they eventually scratch your paint.
