There are other good sounding exhausts, just depends on the setup

do you have/ plan on getting headers?

x-pipe or h-pipe will give you Great results on sound!

as for other companies

Mac - sound good

Flowmasters - pretty common on mustangs

BBK longtube headers + O/R MAC H pipe + Flowmaster = Classic Mustang sound

i like BBk preformance X pipe, if you go to summitracing.com its part # 1666 the sound is a cross between an x and a h. it has the loudness of an x but the deep tone of the H. take a look at the picture they supply and look at the X, its almost an H- hence the deep toned sound we all look for, or atleast in my opinion. -pony up

the cheapest i have found SLP was for 470 from cjpony parts...american muscle has it for like 50 cents more expensive. you will pay a pretty penny for the SLP, but you are getting the best quality that is out there, and the best sound (imo)...i am gettin mine in march.

bbk shorty's, bbk catted h pipe and flowmaster single chamber40 series catback or flowmaster american thunder catback is the best combo for that 5.0 sound

A local shop, neweraperformanceparts.com has it for $450, they used to offer free shipping, not sure if they do anymore but maybe you could grind that out of them...
