Default 24# maf with 19# injectors

i bought a 88 gt 5 speed not too long ago and just found out it had a pro m maf calibrated to 24#.I believe i have the stock 19# (the yellow tops). My question is will this cause problems? Should i put the stock one on? The idle isn't the best.

Yes it will cause problems...

Run the stock MAF until you need to upgrade to 24's.

Do a search for converting a Fox 5.0 to run the MAF meter from a 94-95 Mustang.
Other than the adapter that you may need, it is a simple conversion to a 70mm housing.

pull your ECM out, tell us the catch code, and look to make sure it doesnt have a chip

you will also want to disconnect the battery and reset the ECM

if they are yellow and yellow means 15lb's like dimebag said go find the dude that sold you the car, kick him in the nuts, and ask him why the hell he put 15 pound injectors on a mustang. Other than that i think they already answered your question.
