You "can" install whatever you want.....but Throttlebody and MAF are not the places to start on a stock motor
The best bang for the buck to start off with is a set of Gears.......A set of 3.73s or 4.10s will definitely give you a big smile when you take her out for the first time.....

Gears would be the best mod but you did not ask that. Go with a 70 mm BBK TB and a 73 or 75mm MA. Make sure the ma is for your injectors. Onstang i used to have i did the simple ma and tb first but could not tell a difference. I decided to install my own gears a couple of months later and they were worth the money and trouble i had installing them since they were my first gear install.
