when i bought my 90 LX the guy gave me some GT pipes.well mufflers.is there going to be a difference from these mufflers and the stock straight pipes?they cut off rite by the axle.I guess you can call them axlebacks?
also, would it be better to get X or H pipes?70mm TB,CAI..soon some longtube headers.and how big of piping should i get for an exhaust?any recommendations?THANKS!!!

RE: stock LX pipes and GT pipes?and other exhaust questions
+1 to both posts. As for the x pipe and h pipe comparison. It truly depends on your setup; but for a mild 5.0 its not going to really make a difference. The X pipe might provide a FEW more hp, but some people do not like the sound of x pipes.
I believe that it just boils down to personal preference on sound when it comes to a midly modified 5.0.

LX exhaust tips.
GT turn downs, not visiblew/GT bumper, will not look good with LX bumper.
Remember that if you want to go with Long Tube headers you have to buy the H or X pipe at the same time. Long Tubes use a shorter H/X pipe.
