edelbrock performers rpm's ???
i got a deal 800$ for ported performer rpm's will they work on my 89gt that has the egr on it...they are suppsoed to be the heads that are non-emissions( i think) please helpp

if your goal is to retain emissions.. no they won't work because they do not have the thermactor boses at the back of the head and don't have the exhaust crossover ports which is where the egr draws the exhaust gases from

They will work on the car, but the EGR and air pump system will be useless. Usually not a problem to most people.
I have one recommendation about those heads: inspect the valve train parts for defects, measure the spring rate for compatability with the camshaft, and measure the spring install height for proper 1.80" I/H. I say this from experience. Check these things before for you buy them if you can.
