My T5 has a Pro 5.0 "Power Tower" short shifter.
Is this a decent product. It seems nice and solid, felt good to drive on but do they have any known issues?
Breakage, bending?
Also, is there another shift rod to replace this one with. I need one that bends more and buts the shifter about 1 or 1.5 inches more to the rear. I see that this shifter assembly bolts together in the middle with 2 bolts so I'm wondering if there is a different piece I can get.
Anyone got info on this?

I thought about putting it in an RX7 for a minute since I have so many. But I want a drop top and the handling, braking on the miata are much better. So most likely miata.
