Isnt white smoke usualy a coolant leak? Did you check for any codes yet?

i think that it was just cold out side because today i started it up and no white smoke at all and drove it all day so all let you know if changing the ECT Help if i can start it tomarrow morning ok because it dose this i can drive ok all day and have no problems but when i start it i have to put the gas petal 1/4 way down our it will have a problem starting so thank you for all your help if you know why i have to put the gas petal down like that.
