94 mustang gt with 112,000 miles on it..pulled it into the garrage today. when i popped the hook i could hear a knocking noise. I thought maybe it was an exhaust leak from the bbk shorties. when i asked my dad to come out and look at it he said he thinks its the valves because it sounds like its metal to metal. Can you guys please help?? if it is the valves how hard is this to fix?

Exhaust leaks do sound like metal to metal, try to get your ear as close as possible to the header.

Put your hand around the noise and your header to see if you can feel the exhaust pulses.

Yeah you guys are right it is another exhaust leak. This is the second time the gasket has failed resulting in an exhaust leak. Thanks guys for the fast replys..
