Default Mustang drag raduial tires Question
Does anyone know what is whidest size of drag radial tires that cold be used on stock rims 8" on the rear, and what hight.

a 28x10.5 can fit if you remove the quad shocks, and this is on 5.5 backspace, myself run a 26x9.5 which is all you should need/want

you said stock rim that is 8'. sorry no stock rim of these years are 8' wide. also you didnt say if you had 15s or 16s

the stock rims for 87-90 are 7" wide, and I think you can fit a 26x8" safely. I wouldn't go any higher than this cause you might break the bead on the tire when driving.

i have set of mt dr's on stock D holes. they are 235/60/15 and work well. i also have some 26*10.50 et streets on stock turbines
