Removed EGR...what are these vacuum lines?
After removing my egr I have 3 lines that have a junction right under the air cleaner elbow. I am just wondering what they go to and if they still need vacuum or can be plugged? They are tan/peach, green and red lines.
Am I forgeting or not seeing any other vacuum lines? Doesn't look like it, but you never know.
This on a 94 gt 5.0 5 speed.

and why would you get rid of your egr? it doesnt restrict anything at all and it keeps your combustion temps down and it also reduces NOx which can kill you

When I switched to shorties the tube wouldn't come loose so I removed the manifold and EGR assembly. Didn't want to replace. I Like my engine bays with the needed equipment only.
Please do tell how a small stream of 800* exhaust gas cools down intake air?

well for starters its an inert gas which means it won't let the actual combustion temp be as high if it were all atmospheric gases. secondly, the temp of the exhaust being introduced isn't any longer that high of a temp.

Okay...I can live with that answer. I still am killing the EGR. It cost more than I am willing to spend.
Do you know what the lines are for? Colors in the 1st post.
