93 Mustang LX 5.0 auto transmission w/OD
I recently purchased93 5.0 LX and was wondering what the proper name for the overdrive transmission that is in it?The reason I am asking is I want to change the filter and I need to know what is in it so I can tell the parts stores to get the right filter.Also how many quarts do I need to do a filter change?
I am feeling a hard clunk from the transmission from it's final shift when bringing the car up to speed.I drive the car like a old man so I was wondering if anyone might know what is causing this? Thanks in advance
