Default Need help with t/b and valve cover clearance!!!

I dropped my crate engine in today and the valve covers are the tall Ford racing (ribbed) ones....Anyway, when i was putting on the t/b the contraption under it is hitting the vavle covers. (i forgot what the "contraption" is called but its the part under the t/b that makes the t/b open and shut.) So what should i do to make some clearance?. Shave down the valve covers? Get another bracket?. Help!

you can modify the bracket to fit, just keep cuttin till it does, or buy an intake spacer

i got those valve covers if they say mustang and are black and polish finish. i got mine for free..lol only cause the previous owner had notched them to work with a stock intake and etc. you got two options do some grinding work or get a spacer now with a spacer you get hood issues. the amount he took off was the amount to level off the high rise of the polish grooves

a half inch spacer shouldn't cause hood clearance problems.
