Default Dim spots on the dash panel

I have noticed that the lights behind my dash (that are used to light it up at night) are dim in a few areas.

When I first got the stang the left side where the temp is, the lights would come on sometimes. They eventually seemed to fix after awhile...with me doing nothing to it.

The thing is the Speedo guage has the bottom left not light up. 0-20 I can barely see at night.

Think it is just a bad bulb, light, LED...whatever they use or just a poor contact. I'm thinking about pulling it and cleaning all the contacts down with a dremel.

Anyboyd else have or have experienced this problem?

You probably just have some burnt out bulbs.

Do not clean the contacts with a dremel, its just a thin sheet of plastic with very thin copper substrates running through it. Use a pencil eraser to clean the copper contacts where the bulbs go in, and use a small amount of di-electric grease to keep them from oxidizing again. You can pick the di-electric grease up at any automotive store, they usually try to sell it with a set of spark plug wires. Just coat the contacts, don't put too much on, a light coating is all you need.
