Default TrickFlow Specailities engine top end kit.

I just found this Top-End kit (part #TFS-K514-360350) at Summitt Racing and was wondering if anyone had any ideas about it, it seems like a pretty good deal. I am a little hesitant to put it in my 95 GT due to idle issues and the cam seems a little weak. Any comments would be appreciated.

Also am I going to need to put a new throttle body in to keep from choking off power and if so does anyone know where to get an adapter for a larger one?

It's a decent kit. If you want to buy a "kit" than it isnt a bad choice but if you have enough knowledge to put together your own kit (and a little more money), thats going to be the best way to go. Most people with minor bolt ons (exhaust, tb, intake, etc) and that kit make close to 300rwhp.

And yes, it would be a REAL good idea to get your induction system setup if you bought that kit.

You can make similar or more power with a custom h/c/i for less money. Make sure you have full exhaust and the appropriate size TB, injectors, and MAF

This topic has been beat to death. From the testimonials i've read i havn't seen anyone get 300 rwhp. I'm not saying it's not possible but it seems most are disappointed with the power after spending that much cake. If you have the $2400 or so to buy this kit it would not take long to save up a little more and it would be the extra money money you spend to see the extra hp. From the numbers i've seen with these kits you can achieve the same power for much less. I know it seems tempting because it is a complete kit but if you price everything that comes in the kit it's not like yourgetting a killer deal. Shop around for some reworked used alum heads and go from there.
