then just weld it in...i didn't see that it was already pretty much torn down. anyways, good luck on the project...there's nothing that compares to the feel of a boosted car.

dc_mann8, did you have to undo your headers, or exhaust anywhere?? What did you use to lift your engine?? How much did you lift your engine? Was it less than 5 inches? I don't think I have much room on my 95, maybe the same as the fox bodies? What about the tranny, did you have to undo the mount only, or the whole thing...or nothing at all?? I'm looking to do this if I don't have to undo my front end. Thanks

didnt have to undo exhaust, i dont tihkn we undid the tranny mount unless it was done when i got to the garage late, but i dont think so. there isnt much room to lift, lift the front til the rear touches.

nah its not like i dont think it wont last, its just comes down to personal security.closest track from my house is about 2 hours away and i cant even imagine my car losing oil pressure just cuz drain leaked....only thing i worry about is the pan isnt that thinck to hold that many threads so who knows.i know if i tapp that thing,it would bother me rest of my life whenever i go on long trips.besides i got no insurance on my car so even if it takes me couple of extra days..its worth it.ok off i go to my garage and see how it all goes.
