Default ECM question

Is there any markings(or anything for that matter) on a ECM that will identify what year vehicle it was made for? I have an I-4 to V-8 conversion and was just wondering. The car runs great, just curious. Thanks for any help! -Dave

Default RE: ECM question

YEP,
There is a sticker on the harness plug (gray plastic), which will have a 'catch code' on it.

The code is 3-4 letters/numbers.

A9L
A9P
A3M
A3M1
X3Z

The list goes on...
