I believe you may have to have the pistons flycut to do so

yeah I believe so..I never had a issue with my afr heads but then again I always ran aftermarket pistons with larger valve reliefs

VERY unlikely that it will clear. Always verify first...

Ever thought about a custom camshaft?

Nice heads deserve a nicer cam.

You would have to fly cut or buy new pistons to get it to clear. If you do not have the heads yet please take the time to compare them to my 185 head. You will notice a difference in amount of flow and you can get away with some of the bigger cams due to my valve location.

Are the TW 185cc heads FULL CNC (ports and combustion chamber) like all AFR heads or just ports?

Do the TW 185cc heads have the lighter 8mm valves and smaller 1.290" (or similar) diameter valve springs like the AFR heads have?

Yes they are a full cnc'd head and no we do not use the 8mm valve. We use a 11/32 valve with a 1.460" spring.

The only real way to know is measure!. Every cam is different, and it also depends on how the cam is installed. I'm building up a 150,000 mile stock motor, usingTwisted Wedge heads, but my new cam (custom Jay Allen cam arrived yesterday) has a gross lift of .569 lift on the intake, .564 on the exhaust, but the lift at TDC is .531 and .447 respectivley (according to the card?). I shouldn't have any PTV clearance issues even with the stock pistons (I'll still clay them).
