Default roll cage install

I bought the 8 point roll cage kit from competition engineering. they sent instruction but there pretty crappy, anyone got any pics of were they anchored there main hoop and support bars? any help is appreciated

If its a weld in it should have come with plates to mount the cage on. The main hoop goes on plates welded to the rocker panel and thebrace in the body thats under the rear seat. Iwould takepics but just sold the car the other day.

HAHAHA no i didnt sell the black coupe, i had a burgandy coupe without a motor or trans. It was on this site when my buddy 'Aceofspades' had it. As for my black one the trans is about to go back together just in time for spring... and i cant fcking wait

I was guna say.....people that are fortunate to own a black coupe should never sell it....HAHA....no monetary value....

Ajizzle....As far as the cage goes....get it all in there....if your welding it in...tack it all together....when itslooks/fits good....burn the rest of it.....

here's a link to my photobucket pics and there are some other pics of the roll cage in the album. I went all out and pretty much built a frame for the cage to mount to. Your kit should've come with 6"x6"x1/8" plates and those get welded to the floor wherever you want your cage to mount. If your just gonna use the plates to mount the cage to I would pick up 6 more of em and weld the plates on top and underneath the floor for more rigidity.
