Default GT40 heads question

I have a chance to buy a set of gt40 heads they have ||| marks so my question is i should not need new headers correct? I dont think the are explorer heads because they have the 3 bars at the end of the head these should be a direct bolt on correct?
Thanks in advance

Default RE: GT40 heads question

correct on all q's

p's have 4 hash marks just so you know if you didn't already

but you should at minimum do a comp valve job, port the exhaust ports and maybe clean up the intakes. shouldn't be more than $250-$300 and you will see a remarkable gain over box stock

my buddy was able to go 11.90's that way w/ gt40 intake and 125hp dry nitrous kit, on slicks and 5-speed car w/ 4.10's
