Default t5 question grinding and throwout bearing issues

ok so my tb wines in neutral, but it goes away soon as u just rest your foot on the clutch pedal or push it in all the way. also now im grinding when downshifting into 3rd mostly and sometimes into 3rd if im not at the right speed. im geussing synchros? on that, also if im parked and i put it in first and slowly release the clutch it doesnt die till im at the last inch or so of pedal travel. im sure this isnt good.i have a newer looking stock non adjustable clutch cable, but i swear it must be stretched.
so im pretty sure the whistling/whiney sound is the throw out bearing but im not expert on this stuff so im looking for some opinions. im still driving it on weekends but thats it.
not quite ready to do the clutch since im planing on a newer motor going in or a rebuild, so im not real sure what im doing since i dont want to make extra work for myself

you need a new clutch and tb and a rebuild kit for tranny and most likely is the blocker ring on that gear is bad = friction material wears off that slows down sincro hub..but at the same time the teeth on the sincro / gear hub need to be inspected for being mushroomed flat...and no offense given your past history with rebuilding stuff ...you'd benifit to get a manual or google it and read and learn about how the t-5 is assembled..once you understand all the parts and how to dissassemble.. I believe you can do it....just take your time and take pics while doing it and lay all parts out in a line

or should i look for a used on on craigs list?
im not sure what to do, i know i need a new motor or rebuild soon too, rearend is prolly going to go next as well.money money, thats always the issue for me and cutting corners has always screwed me in the end, btw mjr when i did the heads i wasnt sure what was up cus the weather makes my exaust steam anytime its slightly cold but i havent lost a drop of coolant since, having no cats and the exaust leak might be why. im getting full exaust soon with 2 chamber flows and off road h or x pipe. got more body work to do since the accident too[:@]

well the last thing you want to do is cut corners for the motor and tranny, those are your two key pieces, you can attempt to do the t5 yourself, but id just rebuild the whole thing not just whats wrong with it, get a new clutch while your under there, and do not get a trany on craigslist, freshly rebuilt= just beat the **** outta it, so epect big problems, every t-5 out there needs a rebuild..[:@]

good glad to hear no coolant loss!!! just be sure to to the t-5 step by step and don't cut any corners cause doing it slow and right will give you the reward of a good working tranny in the end
