Do any of you run C-clip eliminators on the rear axle?
I am putting a detroit locker and some 31 spline axles in the rear. I was wondering if i should go to the trouble to put in c-clip eliminators. I heard something about having to cut off the bearing surface or something like that?? At what point would you worry about the c-clip breaking? I'm not making huge power right now but i was just looking for a yes, do it, or no dont worry about it. Thanks for the help

I have them. If i were you i would not worry about. They are there mainly to keep axle from coming out if they break and since your already installing 31 spline you will be fine. And most will leak over time. One of mine has a slight leak.
