Default Resonable rebuild price?

Does $1200-$1400 sound like a reasonable price for someone to do a longblock rebuild? That includes the cost of parts. This person is a well known rebuilder known for doing good work. For a 5.0 boring it .30 over

Yeah this is a longblock rebuild. I just have to bring him the motor in longblock form. So that is a pretty reasonable price then? Many people I know told me he does good work. He was even recomended to me by the mechanic we go to, who is one of the better ones around.
