Anyone have any ideas on a cheap front brake upgrade. I allready have 5-lug and 17 inch rims and rear disks off a 94 GT but the front brakes are stock. Will the stock brakes from a 93 cobra fit? Anyone know how much bigger they are than the GTs? Im not looking to spend 2,000$ + on a brake upgrade right now.

the front brakes on a 93 cobra are the same as on a GT.

So much for that. I would have figured the cobras had bigger brakes.

no they just had rear disk brakes. you can get some powerslot rotors. i hear good things about them and i don't think they are that expensive.

Thanks fordguy. I guess those could help some. I live in colorado and do alot of hard mountain driving. There is no worse feeling than comming up on a sharp turn and having brake fade and a cliff to fall off of. I was really wanting bigger front brakes so if anyone knows of a good upgrade for 1000$ or less let me know.
