Auto Shifting Problems

Car will go through all the gears just fine but will not go into Drive, like it just hits a wall. Do i need to adjust a cable or do i need to drop the pan and adjust something in there?

what do u mean it "wont go into drive like it hit a wall"?does it go from P,R,N,OD,D,1?

Yes it goes from Park all the way into OD, but thats where it stops, it will not shift into Drive, it wont go past OD.

umm, OD(4th) is after drive(3rd gear)
