port gt40p's. I just got my explorer motor and am looking to have the heads worked over. I am not by any means looking to spend 7-800$ on porting. (thats complete for washing, milling, porting.) but if I can port my self I will. is there a write up with good pics? or anyone local in nj area that would be interested in doing this?

lmao haha. yea i know i got a price of $795 for that. i just dont think im looking to spend that right now. and theres a machine shop by me ANR MACHINING, they charge about the same. i just have to think if i want to pay shipping or do i try someone that i dont know the work they do. I just know of them since my friend works there.

I need to know some answers on this subject as well. I am in the process of finding heads and upper and lower intakes from an explorer. I just need to know how much I should plan on spending to get them ported.I am going to try and get some gt40 heads, not the gt40p's. Any ideas?

do you have the upper n lower intake yet? if not I got my whole set up off the old engine. explorer upper n lower, injectors, n rail. ill sell it all for $200 +shipping.

the p's are finacky you can hurt flow real easy best to run them out of the box
