Need advice: 94-95 vs 96+ body
My plan currently is to utilize a 351 Windsor bored .03" over and mildly stroked (383 or 393) married up to a T56 6-spd transmission. The goal is a 400-500hp street-style track racing vehicle which carves corners in an unbelieveably smooth fashion with excellent traction and suspension.

Bearing this in mind, can anybody advise me as to the best body selection? I have already decided on a modern body style, simply because I like the looks, but I don't know which one would be the better selection for my purposes. I am currently leaning towards the 94-95 style because I know the 351W will actually fit in the firewalls. I don't know, however, if I can mount the T56 to it. Will the 351W fit in a 96+ body? What are the differences between the 94-95 and 96+? Are there any significant differences between the model years for the 96+ body styles? Any advice or direction to good internet reading would be appreciated. So far my attempts with search engines have been unsuccessful.

I dont know too much about the 96+ but the 351 will definatly fit into the 94-95. Saleen did it no problemo, and tons of people have as well. As far as that goes, there might be more people to give advice, and more products made if you go with the 94-95 just because its been done more. Idsay make sure you do your reserchand then make a decision.

I would love to throw a 351w in my 95. But I do know it will fit. I would just go with a nice 94/95. Atleast you know it will fit. Plus I think that the 95's handle better than a 96/98 anyway, not positive on that but I think they have a different suspension set up.
