Default ECM ground question?

Ok, the ECM ground is by the battery on the inside fender apron. Well my question is where are the wires supposed to go from that ground? One of the wires on mine goes into the wiring harness and the other end goes to my negative battery post. Is that right? It doesn't look like that is where it is supposed to be going.

you have a picture, and the colors that are supposed to be out of place. This is a simple issue.

Now why would Ford put an ECM behind the passenger kickpanel, and the ground ran a long distance to the inner fender apron. Wouldnt suprise me
