Unplugging O2's sensor
It runs what seem to be better when I unplug them should I leave them unplugged? will it hurt anything? It felt like my car had a more crisp feel like when you first start the car and you can feel the car to it full power. I think ill just leave them un plugged. also my C/l didnt come on whats that mean?

RE: Unplugging O2's sensor
no you should not leave them unplugged they are part of a closed loop system that is activated by the computer once the vehicle hits operating temp. they actually measure through readings in the exhaust as to how the air fuel mixture is put together, just replace them with new ones or you will cause some serious damage to your vehicle by unplugging them.

your c/i light will come on eventually......oh,and leaving it unplugged will put the computer into safe mode rich/lean condition
i ran my car like that for 5 months till i found out that my o2 harness is bad...it will not hurt your car mechanically...you just have poor gas mileage...

you see i was told that it will dump fuel into the sytem and will kill your cats, which i had just spent 400 for a new x pipe with cats, so what i meant to say is you will cause damage to your exhaust system, if you have converters if you have any. by the way if running in safe mode makes your vehicle run better maybe your fuel pressure is your problem.

if that was reffered to me i just put a new bbk fuel pump/areo regulator....until i crawled underneath, and found some loose wires. in the connector.

IF you unplug the O2 sensors, the computer is going to be reading extremely lean so it's going to want to fatten it up all the time, resulting in poor fuel economy, and maybe some performance gains, but it's not worth it or good for it.
