electrical NIGHTMARE!
ok sooo ive put atleast four alternators in the car and a brand new battery and the car still dosnt seem right. The battery light stayson all the volt meter moves up and down and has a bad draw if i turn the lights on i dont know what else to do ive pulled fuses and all. please help!!

you need a multimeter set to amp function and hook it in series with neg battery terminal and there should be no more than a 25-50 milliamp draw at rest... if there is pull fuses until draw is removed and un hook charge wire on alt as part of test.. when draw is removed by pullin fuses then you have the circuit the draw is on..from there get a wiring diagram and find the shorted component

underdrive pullies shouldnt matter in this situation, and on my 95 the alternator pully thats stock on the car is the same diameter as the under drive pulley,but your first step should be to do what MJR told you you need to narrow down the point of origin

check your grounds as well. The factory grounds are normally smaller then they could be and if the become a little loose, the connection will corrode and this could be causing charging problems.
