Fox rodding still in?
Well, this past winter I sold my 01 Mustang GT and got a fuel effeciant vehicle since I had to travel to work almost 45 miles one way in Chicago expressways. But now I miss RWD and much more I miss my Mustang. So I have started to look at possibly getting a fox body,(LX hatch)
But is the fox stang scene as big as it was before? I mean with the sn95, the new edge and the s197 out and so much aftermarket stuff for those, I dont want to be the last one on the whole fox modding.
For the people who still own or plan on buying a fox, why they get this or keep this platform versus all the other mustangs out there?
Thanks!

RE: Fox rodding still in?
cuz foxbodies are the '57 chevy's and '69 camaros of our generation
definitely not at a low... yes the others are getting modded pretty good...but nothing will beat the fox....light, tight and too ez to mod

i dont think so since prices for these cars are going up each year. and the after market is one of the largest imo next to 350 chevy stuff as far as the 302 goes. and its alot cheaper to mod than the newer stuff from what i see.go to the track and see how many foxs u see and u tell me:P

it's a great platform and parts for it are dirt cheap and readily available. look past the engine side of things and see if you can find a chevy or any other part as cheap as fox parts come. SFC i have seen for 70 bucks brand new, for any year f-body you are looking at at least 120 bucks. and it really doesn't take much to make a fox stoopid fast

yea thier still popular, but im on the other end of the fence. i have an 88 gt, h/c/i/spray, skinnies, DRs, etc etc... and just bought an 02gt, im now selling the 88 to mod the 02
their great cars though, easy as **** to mod, and cheap at that.... they respond well to mods
hell ihad 2k TOPS.... like at most 2k in to the motor and am/was expecting low low 12s or high 11s, however again, im selling it to mod the 02, so yea
