i would say get 3.55 for highway driving. youll lose like 2 mpg on highway, maybe more depending how you like to drive. but if you do more street go 3.73 youll feel them alittle more.

go 4:10s like i am, dont worry about mileage it wont change!!! you lose a few on the highway and gain a few in city, it equals out

don't believe that guy about the mileage, it WILL drop. the more you rev the engine, the more fuel it will use. engines dont magically run at higher speeds without adding more fuel and air into the engine, that is how it speeds up, and how it maintains that speed.

yeah...but when you get gears, it allows you to use 5th gear in the city w/o bogging down the engine...so city mileage won't be harmed quite as bad...highway is a different story

I would get rid of the things that you know you won't be using and sell them to try to get some money back....lighten up the car first (rear seat delete kit, go with a tubular k member, relocate battery to the trunk, lighter front swaybar, take out the spare tire when you are racing).....to start out go with a cold air induction system and a k&n air filter...exhaust, better throttle body....remember to always think power to weight ratio because you will come across lighter imports if you intend on racing them....good luck
