Default What is the first couple mods I should do for my 95 5.0 5-speed

Hey I need a little advise from some of you older guys that know alot more than me. I own a 95 5.0L 5-speed manual Mustang GT and was wondering what some cheap starting mods that I should get? I live in South Dakota so emmisions test are almost unheard of. Help me out please.

Get gears, then exhaust. Let us know when you get that done well let you know what to do next lol.

But yeah the rear end gears you will see a MAJOR difference.

I would get rid of the things that you know you won't be using and sell them to try to get some money back....lighten up the car first (rear seat delete kit, go with a tubular k member, relocate battery to the trunk, lighter front swaybar, take out the spare tire when you are racing).....to start out go with a cold air induction system and a k&n air filter...exhaust, better throttle body....remember to always think power to weight ratio because you will come across lighter imports if you intend on racing them....good luck
