RE: egr question

a lot of people d/c them. people argue whether or not it help or hurts more, supposedly you get better gas mileage with them connected, but mine is d/c, and i get 21 mpg

RE: egr question

egr is there to queench cylinder temps to reduce NOX.... AND THE SMOG/ THERMACTOR AIR SYSTEM IS to aid in heating cats up asap to reduce cold start emissions;)

RE: egr question

yeah, but if you're not overly concerned with oxides of nitrogen, or the production of them, then its not that big of a deal. they are only made in high quantities when your combustion temps get really high, such as a lean condition. i think most of us will probably have more of a rich running condition......lol, ill give you an e-cookie if you know what TAB and TAD solenoids are off the top of your head

Come on...don't make it so easy on me!! TAB = Thermactor air bypass .......TAD = Thermactor air divertor;)
