Will they lower the torque rating? My buddy has a blown tranny for 50 bucks the downside is that it came out of a V6, I already have a blown 93 T5 and i'm hoping to create a rebuilt one out of the parts of the two, good idea or no?

Everything except the main-drive and frontbearing retainer are interchangable.

yup yup. input shaft, front retainer and tranny mount brackets are different.

everything else is exactly the same

So....all of the gears and internals can hold up too 300ft/lbs of tourqe?

yes, all T5 transmissions (with the exception of the cobra) built after 1993 are exactly the same
