I have a set of new rear springs for a 4 cyl fox. Would it hurt to put them in for a while and get rid of the cut stock springs?

the 4 cylinder springs are a little bit weaker than the GT springs. Most people put them on there for the hell of it because they promote good weight transfer(launches) and give a little bit of a drop due to the extra weight on the gt's(lx 5.0's also)but on the downside, your car will roll more in the turns. If you want more of a drag setup they're fine, road racing, then they aren't great at all.

Only 4cyl springs in the front with 5L rear springs.. having 4cyl springs all the way around would defeat the purpose. (So on the lauch it wouldn't be slamming the wheels into the ground it would just move the body)

He already has cut springs in the back though...so wouldn't the 4 cylinder springs be a step up from that?

Ok Ive started removing the rear springs. Ive got the swar bar off and the nut off of the bolt going through the lower arm. I put a jack under it to try and remove pressure but I still cant get that damn bolt out. Is there a easy way. I sprayed the hell out of it with WD40 and I still can't get it to move. It the only thing holding me back.

Why are you taking the control arm off? Just take the shocks loose, and drop the axle down until there is no tension on the springs anymore
