Hey all, i got my new MAF, its not auctly new, but i bought it from my nabor, $80 for the filter, maf, bracket,and the tube that goes in the tb, it is a 80mm calibrated for 24lbs, made buy PRO-M do you think that was a good deal? and i have a 70mm tb so do i need a 75 now? or will it be ok?

great deal! 70mm TB should be fine, keep that. and your setup should work great, that MAF will free up a lot of power.

how much power, roughly, will a MAF add?

going from stock to 80mm should add around 10HP, thats if you have a good exhaust already.

i would say 10-15 hp more and the 80mm MAF should be fine

well it is going on the motor in my sig and that was in my 88gt and was non mass air, so will it be more than 10? it will have full exhaust

also when you go from SD to mass air, is throttle rosponse better? im new to mass air this is my first mass air car, so i dont know a lot about it yet
