Default Z-Spec Installed, Leaking?

Hi, I just installed a rebuilt Z-Spec tranny, and it seems to be leeking from the tailshaft where the drive shaft goes in. Is this the seal or what?

Yes, there is a seal in the tail shaft area. Also check the amount of play there is in the shaft where it goes into the tranny.

the rubber seal is just a dust cover to protect the bushing really....

the bushing seals it up

not true!!!^^^^^ the bushing is notthe seal the seal seals it the stock type seal had a extended portion that das a dust protector but inside that is the seal the seal that taps into the housing is the seal.....you may have rolled it when installing the driveshaft or knicked it or check your driveshaft and see if a groove is worn around it..if none exisists try a new seal from the dealer =oem
