I was wondering what the general opinion was when trying to install the front lower control arm bushings with polyurethane bushings?

What do you use to press them out?

I already have the bushings with the metal shell surrounding them and don't want to have to buy the whole control arm.

If any of you have done this before, let me know if it is possible to do yourself.

The best way is to lock the c/a in a vice and get a socket the same size as the metal housing and a BFH and bang them out. Or if you can get your hands on a bushing driver tool, that would be better. Then clean the surface where the new bushing will go, grease the area and knock it back in.
