3 days ago I got a 95GT. It ran great but now it doesn't. I've noticed some other stuff too.
The seller said the car had this:
3:73 gears
Chip
H pipe
The exhaust was off of the car just about 2 feet past the H pipe.

Here's what I have done: Bought the Haynes book!!
I had exhaust put on by what I'm told is the best place in town.
Replace plugs.
Changed fluids
replaced feul filter
cleaned/charged K&N
drained gas and refilled with injector cleaner
cleaned the dang thing( it sat for quite a while


ok sorry this got so long. The car will idle ok sometimes if in park/neutral. It will bog down and die most times in any gear, but especially if out of park/nuetral. It also uses what I think is alot of gas. I had a 99GT so my veiw shouldn't be skewed that much.?The Haynes has me ready to dive into checking the EGR and O2 sensors and all that mess. Is this where I need to look?

If it's chipped you must use 93 octane gas, what did you refill it with?

mid grade 89 I think it was.

i have a 95 GT as well and people just rag the cars out to begin with..... ok i highly recommend 93 octance car runs crappy without or at least mine does. next most def check out the o2 sensors if ones not working right especially since it has a chip its probably just dumping gas in and since it has gears ur going to lose a lil bit of gas milage. i have 3.73's in mine and i lost a couple miles a gallon but the take off makes up for it lol. hope some of this helps

to check the O2 sensors unplug them and start the car and see if the car runs better if it does then they need to be replaced

Id also wonder if that chip is really helping, Ive heard bad things about some of those chips. Also make sure you dont have a vaccum leak.
