Default gt-40ps and stock headers

Found out they dont go together the hard way....

Are there any longtube headers that work on the p heads without dinging them up (I dont want p specific headers)?????

Just about every company makes headers for the GT40P heads. They are just a different part number then the normal fitting ones. taht sucks that you found out the hard way. What kind of headers do you have now?

Default RE: gt-40ps and stock headers

I was using the stock headers.. i tried hitting them with an air hammer and didnt like the way that was coming... so i heated them bitches up and starting smacking them with a hammer.... didnt like the way that was coming neither, i didnt see a way to use them, one of the plugs were touching the pipe, barely even enough room to get the wire over the plug.

I dont really wanna use p specific headers because i plan on putting my aluminum heads that i have on in about 6 months or so and i wanna have a set of LTs for them.

Thats why im here. I see a lot of people saying the BBK LTs will work, but has anyone tried/seen this to verify?? I wanna make sure theyll work....
