hello, im new here and need some help. i have an 86 5.0 stang with t-tops. both doors are wasted and i need some new ones. all im finding in the junk yards are hard top cars with frames around the glass, unlike the t-top car doors. can i use the hard top doors on my car? i figure they will bolt on, but willo they close properly?. thanks for any help..jim

Ima throw a shot in the dark here and say, of course they will bolt up, hell you could just drop the pins out and attatch them to your old door mounts, but they won't close, no way of the doors arent supposed to have the top supports. Hey, I've never done it but I'm sure thats the way it will be.

thanks for the help man..i just noticed i would have to remove the fenders to pull the doors off..ill just start workin on the body work on the doors..didnt want to with so many straight doors in the wreckin yards here..but if i cant find t-top doors the others are of no use!
