Converting Auto transmission to 5 speed

RE: Converting Auto transmission to 5 speed
I'm cutting up a 95 GT right now. The tranny is gone but the bell housing clutch and stuff is still here.
Good luck finding a tranny. 94-95 was unique.
You'll need to get the PCM tuned, turning off the AT functions. Don't swap to a manual PCM.
The only way to make it easier is to have someone else do the work and have someone else pay for it

^^my advice for the pedals..pull the drivers seat..i didnt on my 94...did on buddies 95..and i ended up 1..bending the headrest bracket on mine..and 2...back was sole as crapfrom it all..on his just threw a pad over the two studs stickin up n layed flat ...n really on the sn's..i dont think the pedals are two hard...auto pedals come out pretty easy...and when ur puttin the new ones in just gotta wiggle it ...make sure u take the knuckle off the stearing shaft..but other than that..make sure u dont pinch any wires behind it either..i mananged to sandwich my amp power cable behind mine...so cut it on either side, soldierd it back together and there will forever be a chunk of amp wire behind my pedal assembly lol..

RE: Converting Auto transmission to 5 speed
If you're going to put in a five speed, don't waste your time with a plain old t-5. Invest the extra money and please get a TKO. You'll just be pulling that t-5 out again down the road and replacing fifth gear.
